If you are able to volunteer you will need to be over 18 years of age and some activities may need you to have references and agree to have a criminal record check that GTT will arrange for you.

All information on this form is treated as confidential and is only used by GTT for administration and monitoring purposes; we do not share or sell on information to anyone else without your permission.

Volunteer work and roles at GTT

You can volunteer to help, there is a wide range of volunteering roles, such as:

  • Digital skills learning assistants, trainers & tutors.
  • Supervision, management, office administration, finance, personnel recruitment & retention.
  • Promotion, networking, marketing, & broadcasting.
  • Hardware recycling, repair services, electrical PAT testing, data processing & programming.

Current roles are advertised and recruited through the national volunteering websites, Do-It  and Be Collective. You can also get information via the Volunteer Centre in Leeds.

Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the volunteer development programme which is aimed to develop skills, knowledge and confidence.
