Get Technology Together working in partnership with Solidaritech is offering a practical computer repair course for adults that is free to anyone living in the Bradford MDC area. The course offers 12 weeks intensive practical work on how to strip down a computer and rebuild it.
The GTT volunteers made this video to show how School of Metal Bashers could work. This year because of the COVID pandemic GTT will doing much of the classroom activities online using the Zoom App and offering remote tutor support with emails, phone calls and video chats.

The course, starting January and February 2021 will be delivered in weekly online class video call, with a computer kit, online resources, and tutor support.
Slickstercast has been a musician and composer since the age of 10 years old, playing the Trombone, Piano and Guitar. He studied electronic music with Tim Souster, advanced harmony and orchestration with the composer Rodger Marsh and ragtime music with visiting Professor Fulbright-Hays.
He has over 35 years experience working in the community and voluntary sector working in a variety of different roles and industries including; community learning, social housing, regeneration, community enterprise, information technology and recruitment.
He was a founder of the Agency for Community Empowerment and Get Technology Together. Slickstercast is an inspirational educator, has a track record of successful capacity building projects, has authored instruction guidebooks and is well respected among his peers.
